The role

Piper Alderman is seeking a Senior Associate to join their Litigation practice in Brisbane. This role is for an experienced lawyer with 5+ years of PQE who will focus on commercial litigation and dispute matters.

What you'll do

Collaborate on large scale funded litigation and dispute matters
Draft emails, correspondence, opinions, advice, and legal documentation for court and tribunal proceedings
Assist with the preparation and management of files
Conduct legal research and draft legal documents
Manage the discovery process including collecting, reviewing, and organising documents and evidence
Attend court appearances and mediations

What we're looking for

5+ years of post-admission litigation experience

Strong technical legal skills and strong foundational experience in commercial litigation

Strong drafting skills with specific ability to draft court documents and affidavits

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

High attention to detail
