Senior Lawyer/Senior Associate – Insurance Specialist (Commercial Litigation)

The role

Clayton Utz is seeking a Senior Lawyer/Senior Associate with at least 4 years of PQE to join their market-leading Commercial Litigation team in Melbourne. This role focuses on insurance law, handling major litigation and advisory matters for policyholder clients and blue-chip corporates.

What you'll do

• Manage insurance disputes and advisory work for policyholder clients
• Handle major litigation and advisory matters for blue-chip corporates
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional client service
• Shape the strategic direction of matters, working closely with counsel
• Draft advices, prepare witness and expert evidence, and manage Supreme and Federal Court litigation
• Mentor, supervise, and delegate work to junior lawyers, contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment
