The role

This is a Lawyer, General Insurance (Construction) role at Lander & Rogers in Brisbane, Australia, for a candidate with 3+ years of PQE. The role focuses on complex construction and engineering disputes within the firm's leading Insurance Law & Litigation practice.

What you'll do

• Manage the day-to-day conduct of commercial litigation matters with appropriate supervision and support
• Draft correspondence, pleadings, submissions, affidavits and other court and tribunal documents
• Appear at mediations, settlement conferences, tribunals and court hearings
• Prepare clear, practical and commercially focused advice for clients
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Contribute to business development initiatives
• Manage client reporting requirements and client portal obligations
• Work closely with colleagues across the team on complex and interesting matters
• Support and mentor junior lawyers, graduates and seasonal clerks
