Associate - Projects & Construction Disputes

The role

Trowers & Hamlins is seeking an Associate to join their Projects & Construction Disputes team in Manchester. This role is for a qualified solicitor with at least 2 years of experience in contentious construction matters.

What you'll do

• Advise clients including regional and national contractors and developers, local and central government departments, registered providers operating in the commercial / private and public sectors on complex construction projects
• Advise on dispute resolution, including adjudication, mediation, the resolution of claims under the pre-action protocol for construction and engineering disputes and litigation
• Advise on dispute avoidance, risk management and contractual interpretation
• Build and maintain effective client relationships
• Actively participate in marketing initiatives
• Proactively get involved in the wider life of the firm, for example supporting responsible business, social impact and ED&I initiatives
