The role

K&L Gates is seeking a Lawyer or Senior Associate with 2+ years of experience to join their General Liability team in Melbourne. This role focuses on insurance litigation, including public liability and personal injury claims, acting for government departments and self-insured WorkCover clients.

What you'll do

Provide exceptional legal advice to clients
Conduct defence as required
Assist the senior lawyers
Appear in court
Take ownership of the day to day running of files with supervision and mentoring from senior members of the team

What we're looking for

2+ years of experience

Experience focusing on litigation

Experience working in private practice on matters relating to personal injury, general liability and WorkCover
