The role
This is a Senior Associate - Insurance Disputes role at Mills & Reeve in London, United Kingdom. The role is for an experienced insurance lawyer with 6+ years of PQE, focusing on complex insurance coverage and liability defence matters within the London insurance market.
What you'll do
- Advise on a broad range of insurance coverage and liability defence matters
- Work with multiple partners on complex, often international disputes
- Manage matters day-to-day
- Supervise junior lawyers
- Contribute actively to client development
What we're looking for
6+ years' PQE or equivalent experience
Experience gained at a leading insurance law firm (ideal)
Strong understanding of the London insurance market, including Lloyd's and subscription risks
Confident advising on policy interpretation, coverage disputes, liability defence (including professional indemnity), subrogation and dispute resolution strategy
Experience working on complex and high-value matters
Ability to build strong relationships with London Market clients
Enjoyment of taking ownership of workstreams
