Labor & Employment Associate (Mid-Level) at Reed Smith

The role

Reed Smith is seeking a mid-level Labor & Employment Associate with 3-5 years of experience for their Pittsburgh office. The role focuses on employment litigation and commercial litigation, including handling single plaintiff cases and wage and hour class actions.

What you'll do

Serve as point person on litigation
Supervise junior associates and staff
Serve as client contact
Take a case and run with it

What we're looking for

Three to five years of experience in labor and employment law

Experience in employment litigation and/or commercial litigation

Experience with single plaintiff cases

Familiarity with Federal Court Rules and E-Discovery

Excellent writing and analytical skills

Experience handling multiple cases

Demonstrated project management skills

Wage and hour class actions experience· nice to have

Deposition and/or courtroom experience· nice to have

Employment advice and counseling experience· nice to have
