The role

MinterEllison is seeking a Senior Associate with 5+ years of experience to join their Insurance Law practice in Sydney. This role focuses on handling historical abuse claims and sensitive matters within the Complex Liabilities, Insurance and Regulation (CLIR) team, working directly with Chern Tan.

What you'll do

Advise primarily on personal injuries and sensitive claims matters
Take ownership of matters
Client engagement
Mentor junior lawyers
Deliver top tier quality, pragmatic, government focused that reflect a deep understanding of clients' needs

What we're looking for

5+ years of experience in personal injuries claims

Demonstrated expertise in handling sensitive claims

Strong knowledge of civil procedure and litigation processes

Proven ability to thoroughly and sensitively interrogate evidence, addressing both liability and quantum considerations

Excellent organisational skills

A client-centric approach
