The role
CMS is seeking a Capital Markets & Derivatives Associate (2-5 PQE) for its London-based Finance practice. This role is for an ambitious lawyer looking to work on a wide range of structured finance, derivatives, and capital markets transactions for a strong client base of financial institutions and corporate clients.
What we're looking for
2-5 years PQE
Experience drafting and negotiating a range of derivatives and structured finance documentation
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
Excellent drafting skills and the ability to translate legal theory into practical advice
Sound judgment and good interpersonal and consultancy skills
Excellent presentation and marketing skills
Enthusiastic, energetic and keen to experience a wide range of work and clients
Ability to learn and apply existing skills to new product areas
