Solicitor - Finance Litigation at DWF

The role

DWF is seeking a motivated Solicitor to join their market-leading Finance Litigation team in Manchester. This role is for a qualified Solicitor with experience in finance litigation, particularly asset and consumer finance, and will involve managing a caseload under partner supervision. The position offers a flexible, hybrid working approach.

What you'll do

Manage a caseload of finance litigation matters under partner supervision
Provide advice and assistance on asset and consumer finance claims
Contribute to business development initiatives, thought leadership, and networking

What we're looking for

A qualified Solicitor or equivalent

A sound knowledge of The Civil Procedure Rules 1998

Previous experience handling in your own right or supporting a senior team member with a caseload

The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks, whilst working to strict deadlines

Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to quickly and carefully analyse files and sensitive data

Computer literate including proficient use of Microsoft Office

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

A sound knowledge of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 and associated regulations· nice to have
