The role
Shoosmiths is seeking a Banking & Finance Principal Associate with 6+ years of PQE to join their Real Estate Finance practice in London. This role is for an experienced lender/creditor side lawyer with strong drafting and negotiation skills in LMA based real estate facility agreements, who can also advise on various financing transactions and represent borrowers.
What you'll do
- Draft and negotiate LMA based real estate facility agreements (investment and development)
- Advise agents, security agents, servicers and cash managers on a wide variety of REF backed financing transactions including direct lending, back leverage and securitisation structures
- Represent clients on the lender/creditor side
- Represent borrowers
What we're looking for
English law qualified solicitor
6+ years PQE experience
Experienced lender/creditor side lawyer
Proficient in drafting and negotiating LMA based real estate facility agreements (investment and development)
Experience across domestic and key European markets
Demonstrable excellent deal management skills
Experience advising agents, security agents, servicers and cash managers on REF backed financing transactions
Experience with direct lending, back leverage and securitisation structures
Experience of borrower side representation
