The role
Shoosmiths is seeking a Banking Principal Associate / Legal Director with 6+ years of experience for their London office. This role focuses on leveraged finance, corporate financings, and growth lending within the M&A and Finance practice areas.
What you'll do
- Draft and negotiate facilities agreements and security documents (primarily LMA form)
- Negotiate intercreditor arrangements
- Work closely with corporate and restructuring teams
- Work with overseas lawyers where appropriate
- Assume matter responsibility on transactions
- Participate in client development initiatives
What we're looking for
At least 5 years PQE
Strong leveraged finance experience
Experience liaising with lenders, borrowers, intermediaries and/or investors on the full transaction lifecycle
Naturally proactive in approach
