Senior Associate - Employment at Mills & Reeve

The role

Mills & Reeve is seeking a Senior Associate with 4+ years of experience to join their renowned Employment team. This role is based in Birmingham or Manchester and will focus on employment law matters for a diverse client base, including health and care, commercial, and higher education sectors.

What you'll do

Lead Employment Tribunal and advisory matters

What we're looking for

4+ years' experience as an employment lawyer gained in a reputable law firm or in-house

Self-starting, possessing common sense and initiative

Ability to work as a team-player on complex matters

Very good time and documentation management skills

Keen attention to detail

Experience of managing own matters on a day-to-day basis

Experience of delegating to junior employment lawyers

Ability to build very good relationships with clients

Excellent interpersonal and team skills

Ability to work with others, influence and persuade

Experience advising large employers

Advocacy experience

Previous experience of providing employment law support to clients in regulated sectors· nice to have

Interest in client training, marketing and business development activities· nice to have
