Senior Associate - Employment at Mills & Reeve

The role

Mills & Reeve is seeking a Senior Associate with at least 4+ years of employment law experience to join their renowned Employment team in Birmingham or Manchester. This role will involve advising a diverse range of clients, including health and care, commercial, and higher education institutions, with a focus on complex employment matters.

What we're looking for

At least 4+ years' experience as an employment lawyer gained in a reputable law firm or through in-house experience

Confident self-starting team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence, persuade and build strong client relationships

Strong organisational skills, including time and document management

Experience delegating to junior employment lawyers

Experience advising large employers

Advocacy experience

Proven ability to lead Employment Tribunal and advisory matters with appropriate supervision at Senior Associate level

Some previous experience of providing employment law support to clients in regulated sectors is desirable· nice to have

Interest in client training, marketing and business development activities· nice to have
