The role

We are looking to recruit a Restructuring Associate with 2-6 PQE to join our Financial Restructuring & Special Situations practice in London. This role is for a driven transactional restructuring lawyer who is ready to take on responsibility and contribute to the growth of the practice, supporting partners including Liam Mills and Alexander Wood.

What you'll do

Advise a wide range of stakeholders on matters such as debt restructurings and lender negotiations
Advise on liquidity and working capital solutions
Advise on liability management exercises
Advise on covenant and collateral analysis
Advise on alternative funding arrangements, including ABLs, mezzanine and PIK debt
Advise on distressed and opportunistic investments, acquisitions and secondary debt trades

What we're looking for

Qualified solicitor with 2-6 years PQE

Experience in restructuring, insolvency, banking & finance, special situations or a related transactional practice

Experience working on distressed or stressed scenarios or keenness to build this specialism

Commercially focused with confidence and judgement to work directly with clients and other key stakeholders

Ability to enjoy collaborating across disciplines, offices and teams on complex, multi-faceted matters

Motivation by the opportunity to help build and shape a growing restructuring and special situations practice
