The role

This is an opportunity for a Senior Associate Real Estate Lawyer with 3-7 PQE to join the Real Estate Future Energy team in Bristol, Belfast, Birmingham, or Manchester. The role will focus on advising clients in the renewables sector, specifically dealing with clean energy projects and large-scale acquisitions/disposals.

What you'll do

Deal with drafting option agreements and leases on a wide range of clean energy projects
Undertake due diligence on these projects
Act in relation to the financing of clean energy projects and large-scale acquisitions/disposals
Work with individuals in our corporate, banking, construction, planning and regulatory disciplines
Provide client contact
Run own files
Take early responsibility for delivery of transactions
Provide support in relation to landlord and tenant work
Provide support in relation to corporate support
Provide support in relation to public sector work
Provide all our clients with a quality service in accordance with the Firm’s procedures
Maintain and improve relations with existing clients
Spot opportunities for business development and enhancement of the current services we offer
Achieve the budget and targets set by the Firm

What we're looking for

Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales qualified or Northern Ireland qualified)

3-7 years of post-qualification experience within real estate

Ability to work independently with limited supervision

Forward thinker with excellent analytical, communication and organisational skills

Self-motivated with the ability to manage workloads and deadlines

Commercially aware with some exposure to business development

Ability to maintain and nurture strong client relationships

Able to develop a deep understanding of your client’s business needs

Able to act in the best interest of the firm and the client

Able to contribute to our collaborative culture

Ambition to assist in the development of junior team members

Experience working with clients in the future energy sector· nice to have
