The role

We are seeking two senior commercial lawyers with at least 4 years of PQE to join our Film, Television and Theatre Group. These roles are ideal for technically strong, confident, and ambitious lawyers with a passion for the entertainment industries and experience in commercial, contract, and intellectual property law.

What you'll do

Advise producers on rights-based issues
Handle rights and creator contracts
Negotiate deal terms
Draft and negotiate agreements
Advise on wide-ranging contractual matters across development, finance, production and distribution
Provide structuring advice to producers, studios and investors
Assist clients with the day-to-day legal needs of their productions
Address a broad range of potential legal issues
Handle general commercial agreements

What we're looking for

At least 4 years PQE

Experience in commercial, contract, and intellectual property law

Ability to provide accurate legal advice

Ability to manage transactions

Ability to develop a thorough understanding of how the film, TV, and theatre businesses operate

Ability to develop a thorough understanding of the terms of deals within these industries

Outgoing and confident demeanor

Technically strong

Ambitious

Ability to provide legal advice in a pragmatic and commercial manner

Ability to foster and maintain strong client relationships

Ability to actively nurture new clients

Experience in film, television, theatre, and live events industries· nice to have
