The role
Jenner & Block is seeking a mid-level or senior associate with 3-6 years of experience to join its Content, Media, and Entertainment Practice in Los Angeles or Century City. The role will involve guiding clients through complex issues in the media and entertainment industries, including emerging technologies, disputes, regulations, and strategic transactions.
What you'll do
- Counsel clients
- Perform oral advocacy before a variety of courts and governmental agencies
- Conduct fact development
- Perform legal research
- Conduct strategic analysis
- Write legal documents
What we're looking for
3-6 years of experience
Strong academic credentials
Detail-oriented, independent self-starter
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong commitment to pro bono representation
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
Membership in the California bar
Benefits
Starting base salary is expected to be $260,000 - $390,000 annually
