The role
Dentons is seeking a Solicitor for their Banking & Finance practice in Brisbane, Australia. This role is for a junior lawyer with 0-2 years of PQE, who will work on a broad range of transactional and financial regulatory matters.
What you'll do
- Work on a broad range of banking and finance transactional matters
- Work on financial regulatory matters
- Act for major and regional banks, customer-owned banks, global banks and private credit funds
- Act for offshore and local REITs, developers and corporate borrowers on the borrower-side of lending deals
- Act for both banks and corporate borrowers on cross-border transactions
- Provide financial services regulatory advice focusing on NCCP Act, Unfair Contract Terms, industry codes of practice and AML/CTF issues
