The role

Clyde & Co is seeking an Associate lawyer with 4-5 years of PQE to join their busy Insurance practice in Sydney. This role focuses on complex financial lines, professional indemnity, and Director's & Officer's (D&O) matters, providing coverage and dispute resolution services.

What you'll do

Handle complex financial lines, professional indemnity, director and officer (D&O) matters
Provide coverage and dispute resolution services to both corporate and commercial clients locally and internationally
Work closely with leading practitioners on a range of high value defence and complex coverage disputes and litigated indemnity disputes
Engage with complex and challenging work
Develop client relationships with the assistance of the partner

What we're looking for

Qualified lawyer in Australia or another common law jurisdiction

Minimum of 4-5 years post-qualification experience (PQE)

Strong academic credentials

Self-driven with excellent verbal and written communications skills

Strong time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities effectively

Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work independently

Commercial awareness and confidence in building a rapport with clients
