The role
Maddocks is seeking a Lawyer / Associate with 3-5 years of experience to join their Melbourne-based Employment, Safety & People team. This role focuses on a broad range of employment, IR, and safety matters, supporting clients primarily in the private sector.
What you'll do
- Work closely with all Partners in the group on a broad range of matters, including workplace relations, discrimination, general protections claims and employment contracts
- Support clients predominately within the private sector, in conducting due diligence and navigating restructures, compliance obligations and complex workplace issues
What we're looking for
Approximately 3-5 years of experience in an employment/workplace relations practice
Strong attention to detail
Excellent analytical and drafting skills
Excellent communication skills
A passion for employment and workplace relations law
Legally permitted to work in Australia
