Senior/Principal Associate - Employment

The role

Shoosmiths is seeking a Senior/Principal Associate with 5+ years of PQE for their national Employment team, based in Southampton or Milton Keynes. This role will involve advising a range of businesses, from fast-growing startups to major corporates, on complex contentious and non-contentious employment matters, with exposure to international work.

What you'll do

• Advise on complex contentious and non-contentious employment matters
• Handle Employment Tribunal litigation
• Manage strategic workforce projects
• Provide transactional support (corporate and real estate)
• Manage day to day advisory work
• Manage own matters
• Take ownership of client relationships
• Participate in business development initiatives
• Collaborate with colleagues across the firm
• Support clients with multi jurisdictional workforce issues
• Support clients with cross border projects
• Support clients with international transactions
