The role

Shoosmiths is seeking a Senior/Principal Associate to join their national Employment team in Southampton or Milton Keynes. This role is for an experienced employment lawyer with over 5 years of PQE, focusing on complex contentious and non-contentious employment matters.

What you'll do

Advise on complex contentious and non-contentious employment matters
Manage own matters
Take ownership of client relationships
Participate in business development initiatives
Collaborate with colleagues across the firm
Advise clients across Shoosmiths' key sectors
Support clients with multi jurisdictional workforce issues
Engage in cross border projects and international transactions
Work alongside trusted overseas counsel

What we're looking for

5+ years' PQE

Strong track record of advising

Experience advising employers across a broad range of sectors and industries

Experience advising on complex contentious and non-contentious employment matters

Experience with Employment Tribunal litigation

Experience with strategic workforce projects

Experience with transactional (corporate and real estate) support

Experience with day to day advisory work

Experience supporting clients with multi jurisdictional workforce issues

Experience with cross border projects and international transactions
