Associate, Debt Finance at White & Case

The role

This Associate role is for an individual with 2-4 PQE in the Debt Finance Practice. The role will involve working on large-scale banking and complex cross-border finance transactions for top-tier lenders and sponsors.

What you'll do

Act for top tier lenders and sponsors in connection with leveraged and other complex cross-border finance transactions
Manage day-to-day communication involved in ensuring that deals are running smoothly – conveying information to clients, outside parties, and responding to queries and requests
Support due diligence processes by organizing and reviewing documents
Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings and filing documents
Contribute to the growth and development of the practice

What we're looking for

Admission in Australia

PQE 2-4

Experience in general banking finance, broad exposure consisting of a combination of, acquisition and leveraged financing, syndicated and bilateral financings (both secured and unsecured)

Strong academic record, intellectual curiosity and analytical thinker

Outstanding communication skills - written and verbal

Strong time management skills, ability to stay calm under pressure when working across multiple deals

Client service focus and commercial awareness

Team player

Strong judgment
