The role
Mills Oakley is seeking a Lawyer with 1-3 years of experience to join their Banking & Finance practice group in Melbourne. The role will focus on front-end transactional work, including corporate finance, property and construction finance, and advisory matters.
What you'll do
- Work on a range of matters including corporate finance, property and construction finance, fund work, asset finance, receivables financing and advisory work in multiple fields including PPSA
- Work with key clients on significant, complex and exciting cross-border and domestic matters
- Advise financial institutions and corporate borrowers on complex financing arrangements
What we're looking for
Between 1-3 years of experience from a reputable banking and finance practice
Strong technical skills in front-end transactional work
Excellent drafting and negotiation abilities
Commercial acumen and the ability to provide pragmatic, client-focused advice
A proactive, collaborative mindset with strong communication skills
