The role

This is a Senior Associate role within the Melbourne Banking & Finance team, supporting Anne-Marie Neagle and Ian Paterson. The role focuses on securitisation, derivatives, debt capital markets, and structured products for a range of financial and government institutions.

What you'll do

Advise on a full range of financial products
Draft documents including transaction documents, public disclosure documents, advices, etc
Deliver prompt and commercially astute advice
Contribute to the development of the group
Participate in internal / external development programs

What we're looking for

Minimum experience in general banking & finance

Experience or a strong interest in securitisation, debt capital markets, derivatives & structured products or hybrids

Specialist experience in one or more of securitisation, debt capital markets, derivatives & structured products or hybrids

Excellent analytical, communication and technical legal skills

Strong commitment to client service and an interest in developing client relationships

Commercial curiosity and a drive to keep up to date with sector issues and developments

Willingness to develop strong relationships with team members

Enthusiasm to keep abreast of practice group issues

Enthusiasm to be involved in business development activities

First rate experience of drafting documents including transaction documents, public disclosure documents, advices, etc
