The role
Clifford Chance is seeking an Asset Finance associate attorney for its Debt Finance Group in New York. This role is for an attorney with experience in asset finance, specifically focusing on aviation, shipping, rail, and other high-value movable assets, advising clients on various financing structures and transactions.

High academic achievement
Meaningful experience advising lenders, lessors, investors, underwriters, or sponsors on cross-border asset finance transactions
Substantial experience in aviation and other transportation finance, including aircraft and high-value equipment financings
Experience with a broad range of transaction types, including operating and finance leases, secured lending, leveraged leasing, portfolio acquisitions and dispositions, restructurings, and asset-backed or structured finance transactions
Familiarity with export credit agency (ECA)-supported financings, ABS, and other innovative or complex financing structures
Strong drafting, negotiation, and project-management skills
Entrepreneurial mindset
Strong client-service orientation
Ability to work effectively in team-based, cross-border matters
Prior experience at a peer Am Law or international law firm
Admission to the New York bar
Preferred class years 2017-2021· nice to have
Benefits
Salary range for this role is $365,000-$435,000
