The role

This is a full-time Senior Associate position in the Workplace Relations, Employment & Safety (WRES) practice in Brisbane. The role is for an experienced lawyer to contribute to a market-leading team, working on significant and high-profile matters for a variety of clients.

What you'll do

Advise on all aspects of workplace relations including industrial relations, employment, occupational health and safety and anti-discrimination
Work across varied and interesting matters – from industrial strategy and disputes, project management and support, compliance and regulatory matters, restructuring, underpayments and litigation across most Courts and Tribunals

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Senior Associate working on a range of employment and industrial relations matters

Ability to draft clear, concise, correct and commercial advice and documents

A strong sense of purpose, ambition and a proactive approach to your work

Strong people skills, the ability to communicate and build a rapport with clients

Effective written and verbal communication skills and an ability to communicate with impact

A high degree of initiative, dedication and organisational ability with a strong client and commercial focus

A proactive attitude towards personal development to expand skills and knowledge

A driven, self-starter able to work autonomously

Attention to detail and providing an outstanding service to clients

Safety experience is desirable· nice to have

Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach more junior team members· nice to have
