The role

Simpson Grierson is seeking an intermediate/senior Commercial & Projects Solicitor for their Wellington office. The role is ideal for a lawyer with 5+ years of relevant commercial experience, particularly in infrastructure and projects, who is looking to engage in high-quality, diverse work with significant clients in the infrastructure, transport, and energy sectors.

What you'll do

• Handle diverse commercial work
• Focus on projects in the infrastructure, transport, and energy sectors
• Undertake commercial contracting for public and private sector clients
• Work on significant M&A projects
• Engage in other corporate work such as JVs and capital raisings
• Build solid client relationships with corporate and government clients
• Turn your hand to varied work within the practice
