The role
An Associate with 3-6 years of PQE is sought to join Piper Alderman's Projects, Infrastructure & Construction team in Sydney. This role focuses on a broad range of building, construction, and infrastructure projects, involving both front-end and back-end work for various industry clients.
What you'll do
- Work on a broad range of interesting building, construction and infrastructure projects including industrial, public infrastructure, commercial, residential and retail
- Engage with a range of clients including developers, head contractors, consultants and subcontractors
- Handle a mix of front end (non-contentious) and back-end (contentious) work
What we're looking for
3-6 years PQE experience
Admitted with circa 3 years PQE experience with a reputable construction/projects practice
Exposure to both front end and back-end work
An excellent academic record
Demonstrative strong technical legal skills
A commitment to excellence and delivery of high-quality outcomes to our clients
Ability to effectively manage your own time, managing competing tasks and at time working to tight deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail
A "can do" attitude with an eagerness to learn and grow your career with Piper Alderman
Demonstrated expertise in the drafting of contractual and litigation documentation
Ability to provide commercial legal advice to stakeholders across the construction industry
