Global Projects Construction Associate at Baker Botts

The role

Baker Botts seeks a Construction Associate with 3+ years of experience to join its Construction and Projects practice group in Austin, Dallas, or Houston. This role will focus on drafting and negotiating construction contracts primarily for energy and infrastructure projects.

What we're looking for

At least three years of experience

Experience in drafting and negotiating a broad range of construction contracts

Experience with contract types such as EPC, EPCM, BOP, equipment supply, and operations and maintenance agreements

Strong drafting and analytical skills

Ability to interpret and synthesize complex information

Team-oriented

Comfortable taking ownership of their work

Excellent communication and organizational skills
