Lawyer - Projects and Construction

The role

William Fry is seeking a Senior Associate with 5+ years of PQE to join its Projects and Construction practice group in Dublin. This role will focus on advising on a wide range of construction, energy, infrastructure, and procurement matters for diverse clients and complex transactions.

What you'll do

• Provide advice on a variety of construction-related legal issues, including project procurement, disputes, project management, mid-stream issues like extensions of time (EOT) and claims, negotiation of construction contracts, and agreements related to project financing and development, as well as construction elements in M&A transactions
• Draft and negotiate key contracts and agreements for diverse project types
• Participate in some of Ireland's largest and most complex construction projects
• Engage with large Irish and global clients, including developers, contractors, and funders
• Collaborate closely with other departments, such as Real Estate, Banking, and Corporate, on construction-related aspects of transactions, disputes, development projects, financing, refinancing, and M&A transactions
