Associate - Professional Indemnity Construction

The role

DAC Beachcroft is seeking an Associate with 7+ years of PQE to join its Construction Professional Indemnity team in London. This role will focus on defending claims against construction professionals and advising insurers on high-value matters within the insurance and construction disputes practice.

What you'll do

• Defend claims brought against construction professionals such as architects, engineers, design & build contractors, project managers, quantity surveyors and specialist consultants
• Act for major insurers, Lloyd’s syndicates and global brokers
• Advise on policy coverage, notifications and strategic claims management
• Manage disputes involving alleged professional negligence, errors in design, cost overruns, defective work, delay, oversight and project management failures
• Support insurers and insureds on risk mitigation and pre-action strategy
• Handle formal dispute resolution processes including litigation, arbitration, adjudication, mediation and negotiated settlements
