The role
This NQ Associate role at Eversheds Sutherland is for an ambitious lawyer with approximately 2 years of PQE, to join the Insurance, Litigation, and Regulatory practice areas in Leeds, Birmingham, or Cardiff. The role focuses on representing clients in a broad range of investigations and disputes.
What you'll do
- Represent clients on a broad range of investigations including financial services regulatory investigations, insurance, financial crime, product liability issues and public inquiries
- Work on some of the largest and most visible cases in the firm as well as taking responsibility for smaller standalone matters
- Work directly with partners and senior lawyers, as well as working within teams of lawyers for larger disputes
- Have active engagement with clients and colleagues across the business
- Be involved in business development
What we're looking for
Strong academic background and legal training, ideally in disputes and investigations for commercial clients

Experience of providing first rate client service
Exposure to business development activities and a good understanding of how to win work
Strong communication skills to build effective relationships with existing and new clients
