The role

DAC Beachcroft is seeking a Solicitor/Associate with expertise in Data, Cyber & Technology Risk to join their Insurance practice in Bristol, United Kingdom. This role is ideal for a junior lawyer interested in supporting technology liability claims and cyber & data risk matters within a growing team.

What you'll do

Interact directly with clients in a supportive environment
Help deliver our knowledge of key issues and provide meaningful advice to clients
Support on exciting and fast-paced breach notifications
Support with growth of the practice in Bristol and beyond
Operate at the cutting edge of this emerging area of law
Operate with autonomy, but with the benefit of support and supervision from leading practitioners at all times
Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, often making time pressured and critical decisions
Work in a highly collaborative environment, both within the team, across the firm, and with clients

What we're looking for

Experience within a professional liability/commercial disputes practice

Ability to take ownership and responsibility for matters

Good communication, relationship and client handling skills

Ability to deal confidently and professionally with clients on day-to-day issues

Ability to demonstrate a reasonable level of self-sufficiency, combined with an awareness of the boundaries of own competence/authority

Change oriented with a positive, flexible approach towards the implementation of new initiatives

Team oriented and collegiate with a willingness to share knowledge with and support other members of the team
