The role
DWF is seeking an NQ Solicitor or Solicitor with 5 years of PQE for their Insurance and Litigation practice in Birmingham, United Kingdom. This role focuses on handling a range of defendant Employer's Liability (EL) and Public Liability (PL) claims for insurers and corporate clients.
What you'll do
- Handle a mixed caseload of defendant fast-tack and multi-track claims, in Employer’s Liability (EL), Public Liability (PL)
- Assist senior team members on high value complex cases
- Advise clients, including insurers and corporate clients, on liability, quantum, and litigation strategy
- Draft documents
- Prepare for court
- Engage in settlement negotiations
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service delivery
- Stay updated on legal developments in catastrophic injury and insurance law
What we're looking for
