Key requirements
Degree-level qualification and a UK qualified lawyer Ideally with 1 to 3 years’ PQE Experience in corporate law practice Experience including drafting and advising on contracts
The role
Pinsent Masons is seeking a Group Structuring Lawyer with 1-3 years of PQE to join its General Counsel’s Office in London, Birmingham, or Belfast. This role focuses on corporate law, M&A, and providing legal advice within the firm's strategic growth and governance initiatives.
What you'll do
- Provide expert advice on the firm’s structure and the constitutional documents that underpin it
- Advise, alongside senior colleagues, on changes to the firm’s structure and associated legal, regulatory and compliance issues
- Support education, training and other initiatives relating to the group and its structure
- Contribute to special projects within the General Counsel’s Office, including amendments to constitutional documents
- Undertake research and analysis
- Provide advice and drafting
- Interpret legislation
- Help to develop and implement policies and procedures
- Support the Senior Group Structuring Lawyer, the General Counsel and the wider General Counsel’s Office
What we're looking for
Degree-level qualification and a UK qualified lawyer
Ideally with 1 to 3 years’ PQE
Experience in corporate law practice
Experience including drafting and advising on contracts
Experience relating to business organisation
The ability to provide clear, commercial and decisive advice
Strong IT skills, including familiarity with Word, Outlook and Excel
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Strong analytical, research and organisational skills
Excellent attention to detail
Good drafting skills
Commercial acumen
Sound judgement
Resourceful, motivated and flexible approach
Ability to work autonomously
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to build trust and credibility
Ability to influence others
Ability to remain calm and resilient in a pressurised environment
Experience in M&A· nice to have
