The role

Dentons is seeking an Associate with 1-3 years of experience to join its Corporate transactional team in London. This role focuses on M&A, Private Equity, and Venture Capital matters, supporting global, national, and emerging companies.

What you'll do

Take a prominent role on a wide range of corporate transactional and advisory mandates
Work with colleagues within Corporate and elsewhere to deliver a first-class client service
Building and maintaining client relationships
Contributing to business development
Coaching and mentoring more junior members of the team
Contributing to thought leadership and raising the profile of the firm externally

What we're looking for

1 to 3 PQE

Good knowledge of corporate transactional work

Strong drafting skills and legal research ability

Project management and team working

Financial, commercial and business awareness

Strong academic record, including a degree or equivalent

Ability to contribute to and participate in client pitches

Dedicated to exceptional client service

Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

Demonstrates good judgment and resilience skills

Shows strong initiative and drive and takes control of own career development

Ability to work with a degree of independence where appropriate
