Associate/Senior Associate - Employment at TLT

The role

TLT is seeking an Associate/Senior Associate with 1+ years of PQE in Employment law to join their ranked practice group. This role will be based in Birmingham, Bristol, or Glasgow, focusing on a broad range of employment matters for the firm's clients.

What you'll do

Help employers manage issues in the workplace such as disciplinaries, grievances, restructuring and redundancies
Lead on Employment Tribunal claims (almost exclusively acting for Respondents)
Provide employment law support in TUPE matters, corporate deals and outsourcing contracts, contract drafting and client training
Draft contracts of employment, consultancy agreements, staff handbooks, settlement agreements and other employment related documentation
Collaborate with Partners and work closely with the wider national Employment team

What we're looking for

Qualified Solicitor (SRA or Law Society Registered)

1+ years PQE in an employment team

Excellent analytical, communication and organisational skills

Self-motivated with the ability to manage workloads and deadlines

Commercially aware with some exposure to business development

Ability to maintain and nurture strong client relationships

Ability to develop a deep understanding of client business needs

Ability to act in the best interest of the firm and the client

Ability to contribute to collaborative culture

Ambition to assist in development of junior team members
