The role
Piper Alderman is seeking a Lawyer - Associate with 2-3 years of experience to join their M&A practice in Brisbane, Australia. The role involves working on complex corporate transactions and providing advice to a diverse range of clients.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with partners and senior lawyers on corporate and commercial transactions and agreements
- Conduct legal research and provide analysis on corporate and commercial matters
- Assist with client consultations and the preparation of meeting materials and advice
- Participate in due diligence processes and other transactional activities
- Support capital raisings, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance matters
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
What we're looking for
2-3 years of post-admission corporate experience
Experience with joint ventures, asset and company acquisitions and disposals
Experience with capital raisings for both listed and unlisted clients
Firm understanding of the Corporations Act, ASX Listing Rules and general corporate compliance
