The role
Norton Rose Fulbright is seeking a Senior Associate with 5+ years of M&A experience in Melbourne, Australia. This role is within the firm's Corporate/M&A practice and offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-profile transactions with a collaborative team.
What you'll do
- Advise a variety of clients across a broad range of sectors including technology, consumer markets, financial services, agribusiness, infrastructure, resources and energy
- Advise clients on mergers and acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, capital raisings, VC investments, W&I insurance, buyouts, rollups, international expansion and market entry, governance and commercial law
- Conduct due diligence and draft/negotiate documents for complex commercial transactions
- Actively participate in business development and marketing initiatives
What we're looking for
5+ years' PQE gained within a corporate and commercial practice in an international or top tier law firm
A strong desire to work on high profile, complex transactions
Excellent analytical, drafting and communication skills
