Junior/Mid-Level Antitrust Associate at Baker McKenzie

The role

Baker McKenzie is seeking a Junior/Mid-Level Antitrust Associate with 2-5 years of experience to join their growing U.S. antitrust team in Washington D.C. This role will focus on a robust portfolio of antitrust litigation, merger clearance, cartel and civil conduct investigations, and advisory work for multinational clients.

What we're looking for

2-5 years of experience in antitrust

Experience in law firm or government environment

Experience and interest in antitrust litigation (governmental and private), cartel defense, analyzing transactions and/or merger control

Strong advocacy skills for representing clients before regulatory agencies, including the DOJ and FTC

Strong academic credentials

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent analytical and writing skills

Ability to function smoothly in a global team environment with culturally diverse team members

Admitted to and a member in good standing of the Washington, DC bar or eligible to waive in to the Washington, DC bar

Extensive familiarity with the Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) Act, including the review process and its implementing rules· nice to have

Prior federal judicial clerkship experience· nice to have
