The role

Baker McKenzie is seeking a Junior/Mid-Level Antitrust Associate with 2-5 years of experience for its Washington D.C. office. This role focuses on complex antitrust matters within the firm's leading Antitrust/Competition practice group, involving litigation, merger clearance, and investigations for multinational clients.

What we're looking for

2-5 years of experience in antitrust, either in a law firm or government environment

Experience and interest in antitrust litigation, cartel defense, analyzing transactions and/or merger control

Strong advocacy skills for representing clients before regulatory agencies

Strong academic credentials

Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical and writing skills

Ability to function smoothly in a global team environment with culturally diverse team members

Admitted to and a member in good standing of the Washington, DC bar or eligible to waive in to the Washington, DC bar

Extensive familiarity with the Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) Act, including the review process and its implementing rules· nice to have

Prior federal judicial clerkship experience· nice to have
