The role

Thomsons is seeking an Associate/Senior Associate with 2-8 years of PQE to join their Corporate M&A team in Perth. This role involves providing legal advice on high-profile transactions and corporate advisory matters for a variety of clients.

What you'll do

Provide legal advice across a wide spectrum of high profile matters
Act for a variety of clients across various industries
Engage with other specialist practice areas within the firm
Provide sound, pragmatic and innovative legal advice to the firm's corporate clients

What we're looking for

2-8 years of PAE

Ambitious and driven with a strong willingness to learn

Hands-on approach with great relationship-building and communication skills

Solid experience and exposure to M&A transactions

Strong background in corporate advisory work

Experience gained in mid to top-tier firms preferred

Ability to work collaboratively in a team

Solid experience with legal due diligence, including drafting due diligence reports

Experience with reviewing and drafting contracts

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Excellent attention to detail backed up by strong academics

Transactional work including capital markets work will be highly regarded· nice to have
