The role
Kirkland & Ellis is seeking a Technology & IP Transactions Associate with 3-6 years of experience to join their Chicago office. This role will focus on technology and IP-intensive transactions within a market-leading practice area.
What you'll do
- Work on a wide range of transactions, including domestic and international transactions for public and private companies
- Handle matters including mergers and acquisitions, financing, joint ventures, strategic alliances, restructurings, software and systems agreements, outsourcing, R&D agreements, collaboration agreements, licenses (patent, trademark, copyright, and data/databases), and other commercial agreements
What we're looking for
Three to six years of experience with technology and IP-intensive transactions or other relevant experience
Outstanding credentials and qualifications
Technical degree not required· nice to have
