Wilson Sonsini is seeking a Trademark and Advertising Associate with 2-5 years of experience to join its IP practice. This role will focus on brand protection and advertising matters, including trademark clearance, prosecution, enforcement, and advising on marketing claims, for a diverse client base ranging from startups to public companies.
What you'll do
- Clear and prosecute trademarks
- Bring and defend trademark oppositions
- Enforce trademark rights through demand letters, domain disputes, and takedowns
- Engage in federal litigation when warranted
- Advise on marketing claims
- Stop competitors from making unsubstantiated claims
- Defend client content
- Shape brand strategy across borders
- Counsel on AI-generated voices and likenesses
- Counsel on virtual worlds
- Counsel on influencer marketing
- Counsel on emerging technologies
What we're looking for
2-5 years of experience in trademark, copyright, advertising, and Internet liability
Superior academic credentials
