The role
Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton is seeking a mid-level associate with 3-5 years of experience in their Intellectual Property, Technology & Data practice for their San Francisco office. This role will focus on AI-related transactional and advisory work within IP and technology.
What you'll do
- Advise clients on intellectual property, technology and data-related matters
- Engage in AI-related transactional and advisory work
- Involve in technology-heavy divestitures and other M&A transactions
- Handle licensing, settlements, R&D collaborations, and IT agreements
- Manage IP ownership restructuring
- Provide IP and privacy advice
- Handle data sharing matters
- Support matters relating to corporate transactions, including capital markets and debt finance
What we're looking for
3-5 years of intellectual property or technology transactions experience
Admitted to the New York or California bar
Excellent credentials
Data privacy experience· nice to have
Benefits
Associate Salary: The base salary for associate positions is $225,000 to $435,000, depending upon class year
