Technology & IP Transactions Associate

The role

Kirkland & Ellis seeks a Technology & IP Transactions Associate with 3-6 years of experience for its Bay Area office. This role will focus on a wide range of technology and IP-intensive transactions for public and private companies across various industries.

What you'll do

• Work on a wide range of transactions including domestic and international transactions
• Advise public and private companies across a broad spectrum of industries including software and AI, pharma and life sciences, energy and infrastructure, chemical and industrial, consumer products, and media and entertainment
• Handle matters including mergers and acquisitions, financing, joint ventures, strategic alliances, restructurings, software and systems agreements, outsourcing, R&D agreements, collaboration agreements, licenses (patent, trademark, copyright, and data/databases), and other commercial agreements
