Regulatory Associate (5+ PQE)

The role

Kingsley Napley is seeking a Regulatory Associate with 5+ years of PQE to join their Regulatory practice in London. This role involves managing a litigation caseload for professional discipline clients, advising regulators, and ensuring fair proceedings.

What you'll do

• Take responsibility for the strategic direction of investigations, and efficient case progression and financial management of cases
• Review complaints, evidence, and investigation reports
• Advise regulators on the appropriate charges or allegations to bring
• Assess whether there is sufficient evidence of misconduct, incompetence, or breaches of professional standards
• Prepare legal documents, witness statements, and evidentiary materials
• Ensure that proceedings are conducted fairly and in accordance with relevant legislation, regulations, and procedural rules
• Recommend or argue for appropriate sanctions where misconduct is proven
• Instruct experts and counsel
• Direct and supervise paralegals
• Plan and deliver team training
• Produce clear, engaging marketing materials that demonstrate expertise and other ad hoc marketing activity
