The role

This role is for a Solicitor in Dentons' Banking & Finance practice group in Sydney, Australia. It is suitable for a lawyer with 1-3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) focusing on financial services regulatory matters.

What you'll do

Advise clients on all aspects of regulation and compliance within the credit and financial services sector
Advise in relation to the Corporations Act, NCCP Act, AML/CTF Act, Privacy Act, ASIC Act, SIS Act, PPS Act, and the Competition and Consumer Act

What we're looking for

Australian post admission legal experience of at least 12 months, with up to 3 years' experience overall

Experience in front end banking matters

Strong work ethic

Desire to consistently exceed client expectations

Eagerness to be part of a high-performing team with a strong business focus

Strong attention to detail

Excellent analytic skills

Desire to expand legal and commercial skills

Resilience working in a high pressure, demanding environment

Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment

Available to work in the office every day
