Associate/Senior Associate - Corporate

The role

An experienced Corporate Associate or Senior Associate is sought to join TLT's Legal 500-ranked Corporate team in Birmingham. This role will focus on high-profile transactions including M&A, private equity, venture capital, and Equity Capital Markets, supporting partners and senior team members.

What you'll do

• Work as part of a close-knit team on a full range of M&A transactions, including corporate acquisitions and disposals, management buy-outs/ins, private equity and venture capital investments and Equity Capital Markets transactions
• Advise a range of clients from large listed and unlisted companies, PE/VC backed companies, mid-market PE investors, venture capital firms, ambitious management teams and founder shareholders
• Support the Partners and senior team on business development strategy, including profile-raising events and communications
• Support with the development of Paralegals and Trainees
• Manage own client matters, ensuring experience is varied and broad
• Work with notable clients and become a sector specialist
• Receive bespoke training throughout career ensuring technical and commercial skills to build an effective and successful practice
• Develop technical, management and business development skills
