Commercial Litigation Associate (3 PQE)

The role

We are seeking a technically excellent lawyer with 3 PQE to join our dynamic Commercial Litigation Group. This role is for an adaptable individual who can work independently on smaller matters and collaboratively on larger ones, providing pragmatic and commercial advice to a diverse client base across various industries.

What you'll do

• Manage a varied caseload of commercial disputes, including breach of contract, company law disputes (including shareholder disputes), and 'fraud' claims
• Conduct legal research and provide clear, strategic advice to clients
• Draft inter-partes correspondence, evidence, and interim applications
• Liaise with counsel, experts, and other stakeholders throughout proceedings
• Support senior team members on large-scale litigation and arbitration matters
• Co-manage client relationships and conduct day-to-day communications with clients by telephone and email
• Attend client meetings, mediations, and court hearings
• Take an active role and interest in marketing and business development within the firm and across all the firm’s industries
• Take responsibility for tasks
• Follow direction competently and efficiently
• Make a contribution to strategy
• Take the lead on execution
