Senior Associate / Legal Director - Commercial Litigation (Education)

The role

A Senior Associate/Legal Director with 6-8 PQE is sought for the Litigation and Dispute Resolution team, focusing on advising educational establishments within the Education Litigation practice. This role involves managing an independent caseload and working closely with experienced lawyers on complex disputes, including judicial reviews and regulatory challenges, under the leadership of Tara Foulsham.

What you'll do

• Manage your own litigation caseload from start to finish
• Manage and supervise other members of the team
• Support a wide range of potentially reputationally damaging matters
• Work with Universities, Colleges and Education sector bodies
• Assist on large and complex transactions, with appropriate supervision
• Handle client and internal enquiries efficiently and professionally
• Liaise directly with clients and internal stakeholders, particularly the core Education team
• Work effectively to meet strict deadlines and client and sector priorities
• Involve in marketing activities including attending networking events and writing articles for professional journals
